Alvarado approached Williams after a blown whistle and proceeded to instigate a fight in which Alvarado punched Williams on the left side of his jaw.

The Suns ended up winning the game 123-114.

Alvarado had been averaging 8.3 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game this season. As for Williams, he'd been averaging 13.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
